GOOD MORNING!
So my little girl took on a bowl, cereal, milk, a spoon, and some toast this morning. Surprisingly it wasn't messy at all. It was her first time eating cereal in milk by herself. Needless to say I was impressed with her coordination. It's amazing that a few months ago, she was still dropping stuff off her fork, and now it's spoon to bowl to mouth, as easy as that. Now she does tend to complain if the milk falls on her tummy. "wipe mama"...seems to be her favorite two words while eating. She can't stand to get dirty. Which worries me when softball time comes around. YES, Im going to be pressuring my daughter to play sports. Why? Because it looks great on a college app,and resumes. And it builds character.
As every morning goes, we eat breakfast on our coffee table while watching spongebob/dora.
I know, what kind of mother am I to not eat at a kitchen table. I never do it, I never will, unless I'm forced...or at a resturant. As long as I don't "toot" or belch, I'm perfectly happy with my table manners. Usually after every breakfast Addie hits the couch to watch MORE spongebob while I finish up on the dishes and clothes. She wraps up in her carebears blanket lays on her pillow and watched tv until she falls asleep. She will not lay down without a pillow.
I've started to wonder if spongebob is okay for her to watch. I love spongebob, but some of the things he says is a little on the "queer" side. Haha, Not that it is wrong with being gay. But I really don't like to think of my daughter being made fun of for her choice of loving. But anyway Patrick and Spongebob make me think sometimes, also the way he claims to love squidward. Kinda stalkish.
Anway I'm cutting this blog short. I am going to try to write my DEBATE blog next, but only when Addie takes her "long nap of the day" or perhaps I will do it tonight while the hubs watches her. Who knows.
Oh, Steak for supper. Got to set it out!
Thanks for reading, comment and let me know you're out there....anybody.
