So, A Mother's blog.
I'm TWENTY years old. I have my own little family. We have recently relocated to a town that I know no one. So I started this blog. We have our ups and down, just like you do.
We are in no way perfect, but that makes blogging about us fun. This is going to be the most random blog ever, but still it will maintain updates about my daughter who you will come to know and love. Also me, Ashley and my ever-so-tall husband Joshua.
So as every stay at home mom knows, It's a tough job! I do not care if you are the Betty Crocker of cooking and the Mrs. Cleaver of Moms, at one point in your life those wifely/motherly duties knocks you on your butt!
It's a tough job to wake up every morning! I mean I wake up and immediately begin.
It starts by waking up to this loud annoying music my husband puts as his alarm for 6:00AM. then 6:20AM then 6:40 AM. By 6:40AM I say "NO more Josh! Just get up". So finally he gets up and leaves for work. He is a cable guy. Yeah, people hate those, but oh well it pays our bills!
Anyway, I get up and make the bed. We have recently transitioned from a full size bed to a king-size bed. *ahhh* It is wonderful except it take forever to make up, especially if we've had sex the previous night. Any who, by this time my daughter who is almost 2 come into the bedroom and throws her juice cup at me demanding that I refill it. "JUICE MAMA!" "Say please." I always tell her, since she finally learned that word a few weeks ago.
After juice I run and turn on the living room television. I turn to Nick HD and she watches Dora, Sponge bob, iCarly, and all those shows that I like too. I make her a breakfast, this morning it was banana and cream oatmeal. Of course it wound up on the floor, after she brought the bowl back to me and said "DONE MAMA". So I immediately run over with a baby wipe and scrape up goopy oatmeal, and she wants to help...so she smashes it into the carpet of which we JUST moved into! I can't get mad, I mean she's just trying to help! I finally get it cleaned up.
Now onto the kitchen. It's full of dishes from last night. I was too excited by my husband to actually wash dishes last night so after we ate and the daughter fell asleep we took our chance and jumped into bed happily and made those sheets messy! Ha ha. Anyway, so now all the dishes need to be cleaned...thank goodness for dishwashers and disposals right! I also LOVE aluminum foil, it's a fast way to cleanup. So after getting the Pork chop/mac n cheese/green bean/corn pots all cleaned I start my dishwasher.
Next is my laundry. Now reminding you we have just moved, and finally got a washer and dryer, so I have been catching up on 2 weeks worth of clothes! I hate doing laundry. Strike that, I hate folding and hanging clothes! All we have right now is WIRE HANGERS. ugh....I like the plastic ones.
After this I have to tackle Addison's bedroom. TORNADO TOWN! It's crazy. Flash cards over here, Mr. stuff bear over there, and even curtains over here (again just moved in non are hung).
Okay not to mention the dusting, the picking up through out the day, washing windows/mirrors/TVs...
So all this has happened so far, and it's only 1:25.
Tomorrow I'll be posting about all the debates a mother has to face when raising her child. I got this from a friend when I asked her if she vaccinated or not.
BF vs FF Baby Food vs Homemade...etc I'll share my insight with this.
Anyway, as my blogging skills improve perhaps someone out there will actually read my vents.
hanks if you do, leave a comment so I know you are listening...anybody.
