Backtracking on the Holidays:
I have to say my daughter is the prettiest thing I've ever seen in my entire life.
She is learning so much everyday.
We've been doing crafts I started with the "TURKEY DAY" Crafts.
We did a turkey hand, an indian hat, and a pilgrim hat but she ripped that up. Haha.
She loved LOVED gluing the pieces together for me.
And coloring her turkey.
She wore her Indian hat forever.
Loved it.
I think it made her feel special in some way.
We also made Caramel Apples.
Sadly during thanksgiving I was sick.
But my mother in law rushed over to watch Addison and help out.
After I started feeling better and was starving we all went out to
Cracker Barrel, because it was way too late to even try to cook anything.
First time I ever went out to eat on a holiday.
Since it's getting colder it's time to pull out the wooly vest, turtle necks, and sweaters.
I love warm vests. I can't handle sweaters too much. I'm hot natured as it is.
Now it's my FAVORITE time of the year. Aside from Halloween.
It's "Krimus" as Addie says.
Happy Holidays Everyone.
"Bama Claus"
We all packed up and went to the Athens parade. We had to be there at least 1.5 hours and froze our butts off. Amazingly we never got sick. We finally saw santa claus, even though you are forced to wait for him at the end of the parade.
We saw a ton of cute stuff though. There was elves, and schools bands from about 6 different schools, vendors were walking around screaming "spongebob, dora" "get your popcorn", of course Addison wanted some "pock".
We went to walmart one morning and surprise santa was there taking FREE pictures.
So of course I jumped on it. I had to tell Addison he would give her candy. Which he did.And she said Roll Tide"Ghheee Tide AMA" to him.
We're all getting into the Christmas spirit.
We even managed to get the tree up with all the busy things we've been doing.
Oh and did I mention Addison loved taking pictures with her santa hat.
She is by far the prettiest little girl I have ever seen in my ENTIRE existence.
Even prettier than the ones on television.
We're limited right now to the gifts we can put under the tree.
She already tried to "open" her Dora gift. So now I'm forced to keeo everything in the back corner until "THE DAY".
She is loving Christmas time. The reds and greens and whites. The candy canes and santa hats, the ribbon and all the holiday cheer.
I dont know about you but Im so excited for a white christmas this year.
Hope you Have a wonderful Christmas.
And remember it's not about the gifts or who got the best toys.
It's about the memories you make and what you get to share.
